I don't want to spend all my time on this blog talking about HMRC (otherwise referred to in the UK as "the taxman"), but a colleague just forwarded me a phishing email he'd just received purporting to be from them, asking him to resubmit his personal details as a "new security measure" While in itself there's nothing particularly big or clever about this attack, it's interesting in that it illustrates a couple of key things.
