DNS resolution path corruption: Guard your registry

A new type of DNS attack can not only redirect domain name resolution requests to a malicious server, it can also modify a victim's registry so that his or her PC always uses the malicious DNS server. According to the original designer of DNS, this is becoming a serious issue--one that will probably require a large breach before many in the industry take notice and address it.
