Mikko Hyppönen is the chief research officer for F-Secure where he has worked since 1991 as an active malicious code researcher. Hyppönen and his team have done prominent work against the Sobig.F, Sasser, and Zotob worms. He's also been active in the discovery of malicious code used for "good," such as Sony's infamous digital rights management rootkit. Featured here is an excerpt adapted from the full interview.
